Recommended V60 recipe (1 cup)
Ingredients
- 18g of fresh coffee beans
- 300 ml of water
- V60 Paper Filter
Equipment
- V60
- Coffee grinder
- Scales
- Kettle (ideally gooseneck)
- Server or cup
Grinding
Medium to medium-coarse, similar to sea salt.
Grind the coffee just before brewing to preserve its aromas.
Step-by-step preparation
1️⃣ Rinse the filter
Place the filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water to remove paper tastes and preheat the unit.
2️⃣ Add the coffee
Add the 18g of ground coffee and level it slightly.
3️⃣ Bloom (pre-infusion)
Add 40 ml of water and wait between 30 and 40 seconds.
This step releases CO₂ and prepares the coffee for even extraction.
4️⃣ Main spill
Pour the rest of the water in gentle circular motions, from the center outwards, maintaining a constant flow.
Total extraction time: 2:30 to 3:00 minutes
